finally uploaded some photos on to my flickr. the new flickr uploadr is power-packed!
we made a trip down to chek jawa in Jan and it was quite interesting. first time cycling in pulau ubin for me and I think it's great to ride on the tarred roads there. as for the trails, most of the time I got off to push up and down the slopes; up the slope because it's too steep and down the slope because it's too rocky and fast! poor guy had to make do with a spoilt bike as I didn't choose one that was functioning well (yea, of course we swopped our bikes :P). our insect repellent worked well too and compared to the previous time, I only got a few mosquito bites.
19 days to kinabalu and the more worried I get...
yesterday, we woke up at the unearthly hour of 5+ and got to changi ferry terminal at about 7:45am!
clumsy me slipped on the path to board the bum boat, and started the day with a couple of minor scratches. :(
we saw a lot of durian trees and a group of people were actually biking around and looking for durians
a wild boar in captive - this is the 1st time I've seen one
my favourite picture, I looked up and saw these dome-shaped clusters of leaves!
